{"id":32,"date":"2014-12-30T01:11:12","date_gmt":"2014-12-30T01:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hkcfl.com\/?page_id=32"},"modified":"2016-08-17T20:14:21","modified_gmt":"2016-08-17T12:14:21","slug":"members","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hongkongchess.com\/tw\/members\/","title":{"rendered":"Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hong Kong Chess Federation is the only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fide.com\/fide\/directory\/member-federations.html?task=country&amp;fid=62\">official member<\/a> of the Fide (World Chess Federation) in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>The events organized by the Hong Kong Chess Federation are open to any member of the general public in Hong Kong. Members can play social and competition chess in Hong Kong, but also, through the membership of the Hong Kong Chess Federation, which is a member of FIDE (the governing body of world chess), members can have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in international competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Any interested chess player is welcome to attend for a few evenings to play social chess, before deciding whether to join as a member.
