This event is FIDE rated for Standard<\/strong> which means only those with FIDE ID<\/strong> can play. Time control: 75 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move. Participants should present themselves before 6:45pm on Monday 2nd<\/sup> Sept, else will not be paired for round 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee:<\/strong>
<\/strong>FREE \u2013 members of the Hong Kong Chess Federation Limited. Priority shall be given to members of HKCFL, non-members may be placed on a waiting list as there is a limit of 50 players allowed due to government regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HKD950 \u2013 non-members with payment before start of event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes<\/strong>: Trophy for Champion and medals for 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recording of the game<\/strong>: Our federation will start to use electronic tablets to record the games using FIDE approved Clono software. This is mandatory and refusal to use electronic recording may result in a default loss and withdrawal from all federation Standard events. The Chief Arbiter will announce the usage of Clono before the start of a round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
