2026 Bauhinia Summer Chess Open
HKCCFL is organising another rated event for all aspiring chess enthusiasts. All are welcome to register for this event which comprise of 3 sections. These events are FIDE rated hence will require a FIDE ID to participate.

| Groups: | Challengers Section (FIDE Rating : 1650 – 1799) Amateurs Section (FIDE Rating : 1500 – 1649) Novices Section (FIDE Rating: unrated – 1499) |
| Format: | 7 Rounds Swiss (FIDE-Rated) (Sections with 8 or less players will be Round Robin or merged with another group at the discretion of the Chief Arbiter). |
| Time Controls: | Novices / Amateurs / Challengers – 55 minutes with 5 seconds increment |
| Game recording: | 55m +5s allows any player with less than 5 minutes who may pause the clock and call an arbiter to assist with game recording. |
| Entry fee: | HKD 680 |
